The smoke and sea before dawn stir up my heart, and I’m completely swept away by Nya’s summer as the landlady’s mysterious song echoes around!
You can really feel the longing for Enoshima, and it makes me want to go there right away. The way the smoke, sea, and even the puke are depicted is so beautiful, and the atmosphere of the pre-dawn air just hits you right in the feels—seriously impressive. It’s also great to see Penpen Neko make her full debut and bring more liveliness to the scene. Plus, the mysterious song the landlady had been humming since episode one finally gets revealed, connecting the foreshadowing in such a heartwarming way. This emotional journey from the start to the end of summer seems to satisfy Tatsuro-sensei too, leaving me eager for what comes next. Overall, it’s an episode that really makes you want to rewatch it over and over.
