The rom-com clichés were so strong that I was genuinely surprised to see them still using the 'pinning down' trope these days. On top of that, the curse pushing everything along is just too convenient—it really makes you wonder who came up with these settings and why. Seika's outbursts were fun, but his sudden shifts into eerie atmospheres can be a bit tough on the viewers. The cooking scenes made me hungry, and then they brought up Hazuki's soba noodle talk... I feel like I need to go eat a proper meal before next week. Episode 1 wrapped up so quickly—it felt over too soon. I guess things will keep moving at this brisk pace.
