I'm so glad that both Kamui-san and Lily survived the finale. I was totally convinced one of them would disappear, so it feels like I’m over-relieved that it ended on a happy note. Still, it’s a bit bittersweet that Lily said she won’t go back to Shizuka until she finds her own way to live as a human. You can feel her resolve to stand on her own two feet, and I’m curious about what she’ll be like when they meet again. Also, I almost burst out laughing when I realized the subtitle "Succubus: re" is a parody of Tokyo Ghoul:re. I really love this show's sense of humor. The finale’s choice to play the full OP at the end was perfect. Watching it while listening to the specially arranged theme song, knowing that the owner (Shizuka) is the vocalist, just makes me want to enjoy it even more. I’d love a second season, but since the manga is still ongoing, I’m happy to wait and enjoy the rest of the story at a leisurely pace.
