Episode 19

Everyone's Reactions

Elma really lets her past-life self shine when she declares that "good adventurers love fishing," and her excitement is at an all-time high—it’s so contagious you can’t help but get caught up in it. Plus, I was surprised to learn she’s actually a hardcore angler who ranks among the top five! But in the end, everything bows down to Luuche’s overwhelming luck. Even with lower stats, she can reel in amazing fish just by relying on fortune, making technique feel almost pointless. Honestly, I totally get the feeling of "isn't luck everything?" The sudden appearance of the mysterious jagged-tooth girl for a fishing duel is weird, and her abrupt trip to Berga’s place without any clear connection feels off-beat compared to usual, but I actually like that quirky pace. I also saw somewhere that Luuche had lots of voice acting moments this episode; watching her fight while Elma looks on in mild disbelief was really fun.
