Everyone's Reactions

Takemichi voices what we’re all thinking when they suddenly bring up the "Black Impulse," which made me chuckle at how perfectly it captured our feelings. But then Mikey’s shout hits hard—since he’s the one who regrets the most in this world, it makes total sense for him to be the trigger. The way it resonated as a final time leap felt completely different. Thinking about how Mikey probably already knew Takemichi would come back to save him when sending the video letter just makes that peaceful home video even more poignant. And having a time leap happen through a CRT TV in Akihabara is a total Steins;Gate tribute—I love how well the foreshadowing ties together. Plus, seeing "Turkey" flicker on screen despite being at a bowling alley is hilarious; it’s so fun how my brain automatically fills in the gaps based on the location.
