Episode 10

Episode 10, "The Curse of the Relic," had me snorting when I saw that post about him becoming a scent freak. It’s like, why did his nose suddenly become the main character? I couldn’t help but join in on the吐槽 (tsukkomi). I still wonder why they keep blurring out Xu Fu’s name every time. I’ve always thought of him as just a low-rarity character who got the First Emperor fooled, so it’s weird that they bother covering his name like that. Of course, I get that Irene is cute, but what she wants next is always a mystery, which keeps me on edge. Plus, there’s something slightly creepy about how calculated it feels to keep Ryoga by her side—like he’s just part of her plan. When Ryoga says he should go outside, you can’t help but think, "Yeah, if only he’d actually do it!" You really feel like you’re watching him get played by Goryu Ryoga’s clever schemes, which makes it a bit bittersweet. Is it just me, or does every time a mysterious person appears give me that satisfying feeling of, "Ah, another week well-watched"?
