Luminous and the Five Great Generals are all together, and Alros and Claude's shenanigans, along with Tact and his butler's adorable 'hmm?' reactions, are just top-tier!
I heard most of this was anime-original, but Granbell's past and Leon's groggy morning face were portrayed with such depth and weight—it's easy to see why people are calling this the best season yet. It's fun watching everyone get swept up in the plans while still pulling their own weight, and you can clearly see Diablos and the Five Great Generals in the mix, giving the story a solid, connected feel. Looks like we're heading to the Gathering Land of Labyrinth next, so I'm excited to see how Alros and Claude shine, plus what new developments are on the horizon. The battle animation seems to have improved too, and I want to keep following along as everything comes together, tying in with the light novels and manga. There might be a break in the schedule next week, but I'll be able to relax and immerse myself in this world again. I can't wait for the next episode!
