Seeing Ogatai at the bottom of the earth, with time slipping away, really tugs at your heart. The flower petals left in the garden and the warmth between mother and son leave a quiet, lingering aftertaste...
Everyone's Reactions
The way Ogatai saw Tolui down in the depths, with that unique flow of time, was genuinely tear-jerking. The scene of him looking down at himself felt so right, capturing the moment he first showed his negative emotions. Sitara, putting off her own tears for later, found a new meaning to live for in the small contradictions of Borokchin, and she really seems so reliable. Gyuuk, voiced by Natsuki Hanae, made his debut, and I'm excited to see his first meeting with Dregene, his fated rival from history. I think the scenes of Kadak, exhausted from battle, and Shira washing herself in the river really enhanced the quiet aftertaste of this episode.
