Just finished the final episode... The phrase 'a summer of youth' fits perfectly. I felt that bittersweet mix of sadness that it’s over and sweet nostalgia all at once, giving me a tight feeling in my chest. Haruki-chan being unable to swim was just too cute, but then the lifebuoy gets tangled up and even a rough sea warning pops up—it had me shouting 'Why there?!' out loud. Seeing posts about Saki-chan finally... I could feel all the emotions building up over these 12 episodes rushing in at once. It seems Minamo-chan has something to say too, and it felt great seeing everyone’s summer connect properly. I love the title 'The Beginning of What Comes Next.' It leaves a lingering sense that this isn’t really an end, but just the start. I heard we can read more about Hayato and the others in the light novels, so I’m looking forward to it!
