That shadow clone scene is just so heartwarming, I can totally see why everyone’s smiling. It reminded me of Naruto’s Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu, and that witty remark about the Hokage being ‘down for the count’ really hit home. It’s awesome to think that Junko Takeuchi gave each of the three Hanzos slightly different voices during recording—I can just imagine her exclaiming ‘Oh!’ on set, which gets me so excited! Since they only live for seven days, they can’t have a traditional funeral, so the goblins are holding mourning feasts all over the village. It’s a bit bittersweet but also strangely cute. The skill fusion and evolution were quite a surprise! Knowing that Akira has been carefully planning how to boost Hanzo’s stats without directly interfering since the manga days really shows the creators’ dedication. Next episode should continue the gamble with the Margrave and the emotional negotiations. He reports low threat levels, but I have a feeling his true feelings are different—can’t look away!
