The Kurosaka siblings seem to be the center of attention this week, and it’s easy to see why everyone’s focused on them. It’s funny how they go from crab to octopus for a full-on seafood hour, and the reaction of 'that octopus mochi feels weird' is totally natural. I liked the way the furigana for 'kizuna' (bond) was styled—it felt like something out of a ninja or yakuza manga. It’s so indirect that you start wondering if anything goes, but that ambiguity actually makes it more interesting. The fact that the protagonist siblings were even crazier than their enemy counterparts really sealed the deal for me. It’s a simple way to win, but it works. I’m curious to see what other seafood shows up next week and how things play out with the Kurosaka siblings.
