The match between Mio-chan and Arisa was so intense I almost stopped breathing when they brought it down to the final second. That backdash kick whiff leading into a Shoryuken made me actually yell "Whoa!" out loud. There was also a comment about how her mental state is getting weaker as the Lady (Mesugaki) slams the table in anger, and I really love how realistic her emotional ups and downs feel. The line "I acknowledge you because I want to beat you" felt so rival-like and got my heart racing. Seeing comments like "Maybe it doesn't have to be Miyu-chan?" made me think, "You know, maybe Shirayuki-sama is just as good of a best friend." I saw the term "Bimyo-jo" (Beautiful Young Girl) for the first time and was surprised to see so many different nicknames for the same girl: Mesugaki, Bi-youjo, Jojo-senpai. The end card was drawn by Kengoro Nishide, which made me think, "I bet I chose Yuki-senpai because I wanted to see Ken's art!" and that theory really resonated with me.
