Episode 13

Everyone's Reactions

I totally get why everyone says they want to watch the new OP over and over. I’m right there with them—it’s so visually stunning, and Nana Mizuki’s voice blends perfectly with it, making it a joy to savor. I heard the script cleverly used the special one-shot "Letter," and seeing reviews praise Shoya Chiba’s acting made me realize he really conveyed that weight. It was such an emotional rollercoaster that I almost wanted to shout, "Resurrect as Zananza!" But then his waiting pose had me laughing so hard. Knowing he just stayed in that position until the reinforcements arrived—something apparently true to the manga—made it look even more endearing and captivating on screen. I’m a little worried they’re laying down the flags too thickly, especially with that kiss becoming Zananza’s final moment of connection. I can only hope Yuri makes it back safely. I also saw lots of praise for the ED, so I’m tempted to rewatch it too. Feeling this much emotion in just one episode really shows how much I love this series.
