Episode 12

Everyone's Reactions

It’s the final episode, yet they played the regular OP, which oddly made my heart squeeze a little like, 'Oh, it’s really over already.' After holding back on the flashy finisher text in the first half, they went all out in the second half. It was fun to see them go overboard after being so restrained earlier. Keeping things subtle at first and then exploding at the end is a smart structural choice. Arian’s performance has been consistently solid every episode, which is somehow comforting right up until the very end. The creature transformation flag hints at a connection to Season 3, and since the official account said 'the unconscious world-saving journey continues,' I feel relieved knowing the adventure isn’t quite over yet. It’s always heartwarming to watch Princess Yuliana become such a cool woman whenever she meets Ark. And thank goodness Ponta got rescued—I’ve been worried about that fox lady for ages.
