Episode 2
The Masked Man is totally unbothered about hiding his identity, and somehow it’s hilarious! But honestly, finally hearing Kazuma Kaze’s signature move name takes the cake...

The OP is "Walls And Bridges" sung by Aoshi-san, and seeing the visuals just boosts the hype. It’s so rewatchable, I could watch it over and over! It seems Kazuma Kaze talks way more in the anime than in the manga, and we finally got to hear the name of his special move for the first time. People were saying his VA sounds like Oshitari-kun, but I couldn’t help but think it overlapped with the voice I heard recently from him in Hyotei’s Mobius. The two Masked Men have this wandering, mysterious vibe, yet they show zero effort to hide their identities. Tohka Akira really leans into that setting, which is super fun. It was such a rare and refreshing sight to see Atobe-san as the umpire! And now I totally get why Ryoma-kun’s CM made everyone scream—it flies by every time.
