Regarding that see-through suit situation, while viewers are like "Nah, it didn't look that bare," the characters inside are like "Can't we see everything?" That gap in perception is pretty fun. Sophie getting controlled and wrapped up by tentacles has its own elegant charm, but when they even mention her being a 'host,' it tugs at my heartstrings a bit. They just defeated the Wood Monster, only to get ambushed right after—'And there’s the climax?!' makes me so anxious for next week's opening. RIP Director Yanase... Knowing this was his first broadcast posthumously only deepens my affection for this series. I'll be tuning in on TOKYO MX and ABEMA next week too, hoping Sophie comes back safely!
