Episode 5

Everyone's Reactions

Episode 5, "Hero and Feelings," looks super serious just by its title, but I felt that slightly offbeat atmosphere was exactly what makes Sasaki and Peeps so great. The part where the neighbor's mood instantly shifts when their topic comes up was really impressive. It’s funny how they’re pressing their chest while crying—I get it if the uncle is the one crying, but we were all like, "What’s the point?" Giving him soy milk to "raise" him feels like he’s being treated like a pet. Between that and being in his wheelchair, this guy is getting played with quite a bit. When Shizuka joins in for the car scene, sharing info about angels, demons, and apostles, I wondered if she was officially joining the group. The detail about the six-winged angel being invisible also leaves us curious about how it’ll play out later. Plus, with Akari Goto’s signed script giveaway and Sasaki Farm’s corporate prizes running for 12 weeks straight, it’s been a week full of happy news for fans!
