Episode 1

Everyone's Reactions

Season 2 kicked off with a one-hour special, and what a power move it was—casting voice actors with the surname "Sasaki" from all over the country (lol). Seriously, there were so many Sasakis that I couldn't help but exclaim, "What is this Sasaki gathering?" The episode threw in angels, demons, another world, and superpowered folks, all bouncing between the other world and the real one. It got so scattered that you just want to shout, "Pick a lane!" Abaddon is the King of the Abyss, and seeing him steadily sink into darkness was a bit scary, but it was nice to see Peeps again after a while. Plus, learning about the neighbor's past was a big relief. I was also surprised to find that Peeps is tougher than I thought. Having been raised by an uncle, she seems ready to repay her debts with her life, and you can really feel the weight of her resolve. Next episode looks like it'll involve the daughter being taken hostage. As someone who always wonders about the timing of those injections, I definitely need to watch it!
