I got a little teary-eyed seeing the tribute text for Director Yanase roll during the broadcast. It felt special to see his name honored this way, especially as someone who’s been following along. The epic truce negotiation with the Sea Dragon in the Albatross Duchy really highlights how huge Arnold’s role is. Plus, it played out like a survival game—honestly, I might have held my breath watching it! It was funny to see Leonardo acting all tough while Elna ended up doing most of the talking with the Emperor. There were also some moments where we got to know Leo better, and I really love the dynamic between these three. With succubi, beastmen, and vampires all showing up, there’s a bit of a busy vibe given how many types are in play by episode 10. But that’s exactly what makes the world feel so vast and fun! I’m getting curious about Feine and Linfia’s developments in the imperial capital next. As the title suggests, it seems like everyone is moving forward in their own roles.
