Episode 4

Everyone's Reactions

Starting right in the middle of things feels so bold. I was curious about the detailed world-building, like having supermarkets even in the space age, and I had to ask, what exactly is de-carbonated cola? Manga meat keeps popping up, and it feels like this term is going to stick around in space operas, which is kind of fun. The way they describe the 'bust size class system' also makes you want to say it out loud. Even though he got provoked by Serena and took the bait, seeing him turn the tables with a risky strategy proposal was really satisfying. There were moments where he sat in seiza, and the switch between serious and gag tones felt natural and easy to read. I was happy to hear that all three Blu-ray & DVD volumes have been decided, and that Mimi's body pillow cover is included as a bonus for the first volume's special edition. It seems you can also download Asterism's 'MY WAY' for the ED, so there was a lot of info this week. I'm looking forward to seeing how that risky strategy plays out next episode, and whether the explosive four-way split bro will come back to make us laugh again.
