I was shocked by how wild this show is for a 9 PM slot—paying off debts while ruthlessly slaughtering bandits. It’s basically more intense than an anime that airs at 2 AM! You’d be missing out if you don’t watch it. Seeing the protagonist, who lost their ship and is now stuck with debt, drinking away in an alley as a sloppy elf is both pitiful and hilarious. The way they smoothly end up shouldering the debt is pretty impressive too. The main character has both lust and loyalty, which keeps them likable without any annoyance. I really appreciated how they handled things after that 'A' moment. Wait, it’s a gold bar? Seeing that comment made me curious too. You’d naturally wonder if they’re actually going to buy it! Plus, the Blu-ray limited edition comes with a Mimi body pillow cover. I can barely wait until January 2027!
