The setting where twins are born as ill-omened children and immediately killed is a bit heartbreaking, but it's such a relief that Senai-chan and Aihan-chan survived. The girl with the bangs and the one with the forehead mark are both super cute, which is a treat for any lolicon. The cozy scenes of them eating meat while clearing land are heartwarming, and it's nice to see the borderlands slowly taking shape from zero residents. The ED, "Promise on a Starry Night," is also impressive with its imagery of singing while twirling a penlight, making you want to listen to it again. It looks like the neighboring lord will be making an appearance next, so we'll be keeping our eyes on how their new relationship develops.
