The perfect Akita dialect makes me smile!... And I almost cried...
Ah, #LookBack is such a touching series. The relationship between Fujino and Kyotani is so bittersweet, especially that scene in the end credits where Fujino had put up that poster—just made me tear up. The small details in the show are amazing too, like how the location is shown as Yamagata Prefecture instead of Akita, or how Bungei-do is written as Bunkyudo. When I noticed them, it felt so warm. In an interview, Mizuyama said something about 'connecting the dots,' and that really fits Fujino and Kyotani's relationship. Also, a tweet about Fujino's kick having a 'Chainsaw Man' style was really funny! And the fact that the art staff appears first in the credits is such a thoughtful touch. This show feels fresh no matter how many times I watch it, and I always find something new each time.
