Everyone's Reactions
The demons are using a strategy of picking off the weak ones that stray from the pack, so our heroes counter with a dispersal tactic to take control. I heard they focused heavily on realism for this war chronicle, which was really impressive. I love how Romelia remembers her soldiers' names and wins their affection just by calling them out. It’s such a small thing, but it boosts morale in a way that feels great for the story. At the last moment, magic barely makes it in time, and Al and Ray deliver results beyond expectations. Since Ray was the only one unscathed while everyone else was covered in wounds just moments before, I felt like they could finally breathe easy after pulling this off. Choosing to bring back their fleeing comrades to share the victory felt very human and kind—like they couldn’t bear to leave them behind while everything else fell apart. It seems the staff asked for it, but having the Saint hum a tune during the ED works surprisingly well. That slightly suspicious vibe of hers just fits perfectly with the background music.
