Raid's insane strength is so satisfying. Seeing him crush暴食のライ (Ra) in an instant makes you realize how well Shaula managed to pull the aggro. It's heartwarming to see Subaru still remember Emilia even after her memories were eaten. The recreation of Rem's iconic scene, right up to the halo, was spot-on, and it really highlighted Ra's grotesque ugliness. With the first half wrapped up and the Return by Death arc moving into its second half, Subaru and the gang we met in New York look even more reliable. I can't wait to see what the next 'Five Trials' have in store!
