Patra's loyal doggy vibes are so healing, it feels like the only saving grace here—reminds me of my own family's dog. Even with the tense developments, realizing that the 'hero's' voice was Rem's had me captivated all over again by Minase Inori's crisp, low tones. Subaru's terrifying, almost manic repetition of 'kill' is intense, and the way the final subtitle and ED slide in together hits right in the feels. The intermission scene with Otto and Garfiel, released between episodes, also gives us a nice glimpse into their future dynamic and warms the heart. I can't wait to see what kind of reunions and goodbyes await next, all while keeping an eye on Patra!
