I’m so happy to hear it’s going all the way to the final episode! Having watched this far, I really want them to see it through to the end. Sho Hayami as a kettle... I kept saying "what a waste of a voice actor," but I started genuinely worrying that something huge was happening in the world. The sudden influx of suspicious person reports caused my heart to skip a beat. It feels like a different kind of atmosphere is starting to settle in, distinct from before. I couldn’t tell if the kid next to him was a boy or a girl until the end, but finding out it’s Daiki Kobashi makes you go "Ah, maybe that’s why!" Things like Nasu’s discussions and the circulating notice board give off such a cozy, slice-of-life vibe that really feels unique to the Kikai-gumi.
