Episode 26

Everyone's Reactions

Right after the final episode of Season 1, 'Resolution,' wrapped up, news of a Season 2 dropped and I nearly cried. It’s just so nice to know we’ll get to see them again. Fukunaga pulling off a win by betraying Akiyama was a great twist. I was surprised he could pull it off without Akiyama, but his strategy of pretending to be the sucker while actually scamming everyone else is very much in line with LIAR GAME. Naoko carrying hundreds of billions in debt and boldly saying 'Come and get it!' makes her feel like an invincible creature. I totally get why people say she’s turning into ChiiKawa. Hearing that Kroi's 'All In' is the OP theme felt perfect for the show's tension. I’m curious if Season 2 will start with the same song or bring in a new one. I can totally relate to everyone shouting 'Season 2, come on!' after Yokoya’s whispering voice closed things out. That lingering feeling, wanting to know what happens next—it’s just the best.
