Seventeen Poker is underway, and if you play it by standard poker logic, you'll find yourself struggling to even get a pair. Since this game favors strong hands, Naoko's decisive swap of three cards during her practice run was so impactful that Fukunaga's over-the-top reactions kept catching my eye. Some people say it's awesome that Naoko is the one behind those expressions, and I totally agree. It really stings to see Kikuchi, who seems to have found the key to victory, go down with two consecutive losses—his "Why am I losing again?" line hits hard. His incredible dynamic vision is impressive, but I wonder if he has the stamina to wait for the Joker, or if his boxer-like physique means he's just relying on brute force. Also, I'm a bit worried about the glasses-wearing character taking them off so early! Let's hope everyone in the middle ranks makes it through safely until the next captain's match.
