Episode 2

Everyone's Reactions

It was such a nice surprise to see Ailun melt back into Bebirun, with her poop care depicted so thoroughly. I didn't realize she had such a clear concept of elimination despite not showing it off much; it’s really sweet seeing the Puni characters from a parental perspective. Yuka-chan saying, "I get that they're cute, but the care is tough," hit home perfectly. It’s true that the cuter ones require more effort, just like with adults. Also, I enjoyed watching the TV data broadcast where feeding Bebirun and playing PuniPuni turned them into Kizzu Punis—it felt like we were playing along too! Next up, Enerun and the others will become Bebiruns, so their care duties might overlap again. It seems Akarun’s care is still ongoing too; everyone looks pretty busy.
