I'm so relieved the finale ended on such a peaceful note. Seeing shots that mirrored episode 1 really made me feel like I’d watched the entire season in one go, warming my heart. Manna-chan was her usual self as a monster-obsessed otaku at her limit, but what I loved most was her straightforward, unwavering way of expressing her love. Her big confession scene had me teary-eyed the whole time. That said, we should never forget that Mama is still the ultimate boss monster in the series. And while the little sister just kind of showed up, it’s clear that Mama’s issues are the biggest challenge of all. The staff even wrote "Let's go eat pancakes," which made me really want to do just that after the finale. I truly felt the same way—what a joy it was to spend this summer and these hours with the Carmerize crew.
