I went into this episode expecting Chloe to get her heart broken, but when I found out her new crush is an elementary schooler who plays Minecraft, I just couldn’t help but let out a soft "Ahh..." The situation where Minami spots them together, leading to both of them awkwardly witnessing each other’s "cheating scene" (well, not really), is just too funny. And honestly, if Minami doesn’t like it that much, he should just say no! After learning about Chloe’s backstory—how she accepted becoming a monster so easily after losing her mom to illness three years ago—the title "Crying Love Monster" really hits home. I totally get why you’d want to root for Chloe; she’s not the bad guy here! Watching someone completely lose their rationality over love is just so relatable and makes you feel for them. It was a bit of a bummer that Daichi-kun only showed up as a photo frame instead of his usual self, but hearing that episode 11 delivers what everyone’s been waiting for has me really looking forward to next week. With the little sister also making an appearance, I can’t wait to see how things unfold!
