The finale was short and ended with this slightly unfinished vibe that just seeped into my bones. I’ve been watching every week for three months, so it feels a bit lonely now. Beryl didn’t do much ‘Sword Saint’ stuff in Season 2; she was mostly stuck on fetch quests. She’s still so nonchalant and kind of like that old guy who just listens without saying much, but that monologue where her usual grumbling finally disappeared actually pierced right through me. I couldn’t quite keep up with the emotions when both of them were crying after getting gut-punched, or when they fell down side-by-side so neatly. But that surreal charm is exactly what makes this show special. And Season 3 is officially confirmed!!! This isn’t a dream, right? I’ll keep following along, hoping Beryl’s Xenograyble Long Sword might actually land the hit. By ending on an unfinished note, it left me wanting to see what happens next. What a great way to wrap things up.
