Watching Karin get pushed aside by her parents, who treat her and her sister poorly, really made me feel the pain of how upbringing shapes us. It’s heartbreaking to see Karin, who was once so close to Yuzu, turn into a haughty girl thanks to her parents' ego. She’s kind of a victim in this, but I still can’t fully forgive how she treats her older sister. The scene where Yota, who loved her so purely, gets told "I’m no longer your bride" really tugs at your heartstrings. It was her last chance, and she missed it—so bittersweet! Also, the slow, Laputa-esque descent of the scene really highlighted the weight of the moment with its quiet atmosphere. Looks like there’s a collaboration bookplate giveaway for *Kekkaishi*’s Ichirinka in September too. I’m excited to see how the world of *Oni no Hanayome* keeps expanding!
