Keisuke trembles with rage, breaks out of his shell, and awakens! The intense action had me shouting 'Waaah!'
When Morio-chan goes down like Krillin, Keiji's reaction feels so natural and really warms your heart. Watching Keisuke fight while carrying his father's hopes, and seeing him awaken in a fury, gives off that classic Hokuto no Ken or Dragon Ball vibe, but the fresh twist of the protagonist being a chicken is just great. The gimmick of a chicken that can do sit-ups and Morio-chan's revival thanks to Noto-san's voice are super interesting, and the direction is truly amazing. It really felt like we got to savor the essence of Weekly Shonen Jump—where loved ones falling gives the hero a power boost. I'm looking forward to seeing Banpei and Gokon-kun shine more in the next episode, as Keiji's hot battle seems to be just getting started!
