The light shining in Aoki's eyes, and Tsune-chan reaping the benefits of her lucky break. As the first chapter closes under a crisp blue sky, the spark for the next battle is still here!
I was pleasantly surprised by how neatly the first chapter wrapped up, with Sankaku-san jumping ahead in time while still in prison. Heidan's strategy was so flawless that he managed to win over everyone, including the Emperor and Ryumon, giving us that bittersweet 'Heidan Unrivaled' vibe. I especially loved Tsune-chan's accidental rise to prominence and her deep bow; she got the best spot without even trying, which was so heartwarming. Even the moment hope seemed to fade had a beautiful, train-crushed charm to it. While I'm worried about Kaku's lifespan, the light in Aoki's eyes hasn't gone out. The spark is still here, so I'm looking forward to the next battle!
