The bold confession scene in episode 10, "Proposal Frenzy," has us all on edge. Meanwhile, Kihachi is working on his electric plane by the river when Inako shows up, and they end up goading each other with the same lines. Their chemistry is so spot-on it’s kind of hilarious. There are even posts about the homo dance, with people saying, "Isn't this basically a gay anime?" Honestly, that theory doesn’t feel wrong at all for their dynamic. I was also surprised to see them in swimsuits! The gag-anime style really shines through, especially with Kihachi putting on a show using his electric mouse—it’s pure Kyoto Animation quirky charm. Looks like pre-orders for the Blu-ray Volume 1 have started, and the early bird campaign runs until the 20th of this month. I totally get why everyone wants to rewatch it over and over!
