Now that I've watched until the very end, it's a bit sad to see Season 2 come to a close. Hearing Tokiyuki say, "Ah, that was fun... but it's over already," really tugged at my heartstrings. The mysterious transformation recap shots and the future-prediction scenes that showed us what happens after the manga were absolutely wild—they really went all out breaking the fourth wall. Seeing them bring in actual canon moments made me realize how much effort the production team put into this. It's honestly super cool that they teased the finale with Tokiyuki, who's been called a 'full-naked escape pervert,' declaring, "History's most famous rebellion is coming!" I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the story next time. The ending illustrations were done by Mayumaro, and reading the ED staff's comment, "It was the best anime adaptation," gave me such a warm feeling that everyone worked together on this. It almost brought tears to my eyes. With an ending like this, there's no way they won't do Season 3! I can't wait to see Tokiyuki and Yorishige again.
