Episode 21
The Great Kusunoki makes his entrance, and it’s so surreal... Turns out the weirdo is actually a big shot!
Everyone's Reactions
He shows up with the title 'That Man, Kusunoki Masashige,' which is such a quirky way to make an entrance. There was this comment saying that if Takauji is a monster, then the Great Kusunoki is someone who transcended human limits while still keeping his humanity. That really hit home for me. The show has been so carefully depicting how 'fleeing is living,' but it makes you worry about the shadowy presence lingering nearby. I’m moved by how Tokiyuki and his friends grow together through cooperation, yet I can’t help but feel on edge, wondering what’s coming next. Also, did anyone else notice that we’re getting two anime in a row where an old man gets fed poop? Someone please explain the reason! With a completely naked toddler fleeing with rabbit-like combat power, anything could happen at this point. I love how the streaming starts at 25:25—a touch of 'Fleeing Prince' flair. It feels like the staff are up late reading comments, so I’m feeling all cozy and ready to watch live next week!
