It turns out this episode is based on the Poplar Publishing picture book "Little Mouse and Hotcakes," so for those who own it, seeing it come to life in anime must feel extra special. Nemi-chan carries the luggage, wears her apron, and works hard, ending with everyone smiling—it was such a heartwarming episode. The surreal moments, like Zou-kun walking on two legs and scenes that feel like a formal council meeting, add a nice touch of humor to the warmth. With how cute the ED dance is, I’m already hoping for another episode where everyone gathers to make something together.
