Mouse gets a bit shy and awkward when he takes off his vest, looking adorably half-naked, which always warms my heart. This episode was quiet with no dialogue, but the contrast in the voice actors' performances (especially Tsuda-san's crew) and the fun sound design of the scale getting heavier were highlights. The punchline about Mouse's needle being higher than Elephant's made total sense. It stays true to the original manga, and the focus on sound effects over BGM gave it a cozy charm. I'm already looking forward to next week! And Nemii's smug little face looked surprisingly like Tsubasa Muromachi, matching the ending theme perfectly.
