The OP's storyboard and direction are crafted with such care, and you can really feel the love for cats seeping in. It’s so heartwarming to see how the staff’s own 'cat love' is reflected in the world-building. True to the title 'Mother Cat and the Girl' in Episode 2, the invincible mom is adorable—she’s not only protective but also shows off her cat-like charm, especially when she’s reluctant to take a bath. The way the Great Demon gets integrated into the cat world is really interesting, and it’s exciting to watch everything slowly turn into cats. The ED song is also so heartwarming, leaving a long-lasting afterglow. Looks like Episode 3 will air on terrestrial TV a week early, so we won’t be able to look away as we see how the mother cat’s past and her bond with the girl deepen. I also feel like Chika Anzai’s voice has gotten even softer compared to her Granblue days, which fits this story perfectly. Can’t wait for the next episode!
