Episode 9
A heartwarming, cozy afterglow of another world, featuring the unique, masked spirits, the nostalgic return of Lady Xilica, and Nana-hoshi shining gently beside the Big Dipper.
Everyone's Reactions
The Bergas spirits are cute with their identical faces distinguished only by masks, but I love how Silvaril stands out as a bit of a weirdo with just her mask. Seeing the low-intelligence but flavorful Demon Emperor Xilica Khisris, along with her many horse-like children, makes me feel like our current cozy daily life is running out of stock. As Rudeus's reality and Nana-hoshi's unreality intersect, the poignant cry delivered by Shion Yamayama's amazing performance, along with the insert song "End of Days Flame," really hits the heart. Since things are so fulfilling right now, it feels like past shortcomings are catching up, but thanks to Sylphy's stamina debuff and Cliff's polished demeanor, I'm excited for what's next. It seems the slow life in this other world is coming to an end, but I won't forget Nana-hoshi's small, star-like glow. I'll keep cheering them on!
