Gouemon-san even handled Ruuka's graduation ceremony, and that super simple diploma—symbolizing she’s now a fully-fledged adult—brought tears to my eyes. Knowing he cherished her enough to house the Makoto Jewel within her, I’m blown away by his depth as a mentor. His insistence on "not recognizing independence until you recognize yourself" actually boils down to pure love. Plus, treating juniors to ice cream and sparing them from reporting every little thing shows such kindness; if it weren’t for that hidden side, he’d be the perfect saintly boss! No wonder so many are swooning over his dynamic with Ruuka. We also got new movie footage—looks like it’s releasing on September 18th with appearances by KimiPri and WanPuri characters, so I can’t wait to see it! The opening theme has switched to the movie version too, and I’m dying to see what happens next week.
