Episode 1217

Everyone's Reactions

I was surprised to learn that Conan actually experiences those 'Cheetah Express' moments where deliveries arrive at beast-like speeds. It makes me feel like Beika's logistics infrastructure is even more mysterious than usual. A lot of people seemed to be seeing someone run like Arare for the first time, and her unique running form became a hot topic during the live commentary, which was fun to watch. Mayu naturally dodged the 'Conan or Another? Death flag' scenario despite being 25, and I completely agree with the theory that she has top-tier survival skills in Beika. Seeing her always turn out fine makes her feel quite reliable. In just the last few minutes, Yoshie suddenly became cuter than anyone else, Ran fully embraced the romance tropes, and Baoro stirred up trouble left and right. It was an episode where things piled up so fast my head couldn't keep up. It’s another engagement-themed episode (anime original) happening the week after Heiji and Kazuha got together. The anime is quick to capitalize on recent developments, giving it that lively, anime-original vibe.
