Even though it's the final episode, the amazing OP 'Ribbon' plays, and Suzume-chan's fluffy, heavy footsteps feel so nostalgic. Chun's last line while explaining the New Year's soba had me chuckling with that relatable 'anything's fine' attitude. Suzume-chan saying 'gochisousama' (thanks for the meal) was such a gentle, true-to-character ending. The quirky background music was fun too, and I can already hear the cries of 'Where's Season 2?!' I really want to return to that delicious time. It seems the manga world is continuing too, so I'm looking forward to what comes next for Suzume-chan and the gang.
