Amidst the bullet-riddled battlefield, it’s so hard to resist the DG team’s sweet, almost unfair charm as they enjoy the game, even while Araki and Stella are clearly in pain.

The battlefield is in chaos, with rule-breaking becoming the norm. It’s a bit worrying for the Doctor’s system setup, but it’s making things more interesting. Seeing Araki and Stella in pain is heartbreaking, but it’s also kind of cute how the DG team is having so much fun. Kōhei’s Hak-like moves and the side effects of his consecutive uses are a bit concerning, but it makes me excited for what’s next. The other teams seem worried too, so I can’t take my eyes off how this chaos will resolve. The original concept eyecatches were lovely, and I’m satisfied with how episode 8 wrapped up.
