It was about time the past story finally showed up in the last episode—it was so late that I almost yelled at my screen. I couldn’t help but think, "Couldn’t you have shown this earlier?" Araki acts like her ability is some kind of burden for doing what she did, which just makes me want to point out, "No, it’s your fault!" I was screaming that in my head. The way they just charged ahead without a plan also made me go, "Shouldn’t you have prepared for the missile interception?" And the fusion happened so fast that I barely had time to process it. But seeing the sky change from that insane color at the start to a clear blue in the epilogue really helped me grasp the meaning of "Same Sky," and that part genuinely hit home. The music was absolutely great, though. If there’s a sequel, I hope they take a bit more time to flesh things out.
