The final episode is here, and I'm feeling a bit mixed up about it actually being over. Seeing Yura get her voice called out by Mao really tugged at my heartstrings—I could feel the emotion welling up in me too. Knowing that she spent her past as a substitute for the curse's backlash, with no room to even think about beauty or ugliness, made the scene where her true self was being consumed by demons especially painful. The "anmitsu ending" description fits perfectly; it was a sweet yet slightly bitter conclusion. I got a little laugh from the banter between Nanaka and Kamon and Ken's simple, straightforward solution, but overall, it wrapped up with such a heavy, satisfying feeling. I'm so curious about what happens next... I can't wait to see when the anime continues!
