This episode was packed with Alicia moments, just as promised. It’s a bit pitiful seeing her half-naked in the torture chamber, but isn’t it super gentlemanly of the twins to lend her their robes? A few people mentioned that SE sounding like Godzilla, and honestly, it fits perfectly. The show nails its balance between tension and relief by mixing serious moments with occasional quirky gags. I was a bit surprised while watching live to realize Sano Fuyuo and Sekine Akane were the same person—it’s always cool when you recognize a voice actor just by their name. Alicia getting another fall and stacking up marks was lucky, but I love how she looks like a monster despite the pain. I get wanting to rescue the princess soon, though, with this pace, it feels like another trial is waiting for us next.
